A Forum of Cooperation between DUFL and FLTRP Held

On the morning of March 3rd, Peng Donglin, chief of Comprehensive Language Branch, and Du Hongpo, from Japanese Language Section of Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press (FLTRP), An Yuguang, deputy director of “One Belt and One Road” National Language Service Center and Feng Tao, assistant director of English Department of Higher English Education Publishing came to DUFL to participate in the “Cooperation Forum” jointly sponsored by DUFL and FLTRP. The forum was hosted by President Liu Hong.

Liu Hong hoped that during the “13th Five Year Plan” period, DUFL would set up a Base of Cooperative Creation to implement an in-depth collaboration. Peng Donglin briefed some services that could be available by the Base. Wang Ke and Peng Wenzhao discussed with FLTRP delegates on topics such as an internet teaching platform, and “One Belt and One Road” a humanity exchange program. The meeting was successful, and the prospective contents for later meetings are predetermined.

 

President Liu closed the forum, expressing her wishes to see the success of this collaboration. In addition, both DUFL and FLTRP agreed to sign a Cooperative Framework Agreement.
