The graduation ceremony kicked off with a warm music. Sun Mingcai, secretary of the Party branch of School of Chinese Studies, announced the list of graduates and the list of commended students. Daria from Russia spoke as a representative of graduates. She shared with everyone her love for Chinese culture and Chinese. Due to the impact of the epidemic, she has always insisted on learning through the Internet. During the learning process, she got acquainted with teachers from Dawai and students from different countries. She thanked the teachers for their hard work and encouragement, and looked forward to having the opportunity to come to China in the future, come to the university, and learn and communicate face-to-face with teachers and classmates.

Teacher representative Tian Cong made a parting speech at the ceremony. She reviewed the teaching life of a semester with sincere words, and expressed her appreciation for the diligent performance of many students in overcoming difficulties such as jet lag and poor network conditions, and also expressed her reluctance and heartfelt blessings to the students who graduated. She looked forward to it. This means that the students can have more gains in the new journey, and it also represents that the school teachers welcome the students to come to the university in the future.

Chen Zijiao, Dean of the School of Chinese Studies, congratulated the international students who had successfully completed their studies in her speech. She affirmed the hard work and progress made by the students, and was proud of the good results achieved by the students in various competitions and activities. She pointed out: Language is a tool, and culturei has no borders. I sincerely hope that everyone will continue to learn Chinese well, use Chinese well, and have an insight and structure facing the world, and become a "Chinese bridge" between China and their motherland. I look forward to and welcome students to come to DSU in the future and experience the charm of Chinese on the beautiful campus.

Dawai is the eternal home of graduates. I hope that the international students cultivated by our school can make full use of the knowledge they have learned in the future and contribute to friendly exchanges between countries. (Wang Jiaping)
