Our school has added a major in international journalism and communication and a major in cross-border e-commerce


In accordance with the spirit of the Notice of the Ministry of Education on Announcing the Results of the Filing and Approval of Undergraduate Majors in Ordinary Colleges and Universities in 2021 (Teaching Letter [2021] No. 14), our school was allowed to add international journalism and communication majors and cross-border e-commerce majors.


Both majors are new majors that serve national and local development strategies, as well as the needs of economic and social transformation and upgrading. The International Journalism and Communication Major is committed to cultivating high-level professionals who have profound cultural heritage, international vision and cross-cultural communication ability, adapt to the needs of media development and cultural communication in the all-media era, and can engage in scientific research, international news communication, international cultural communication, international public relations advertising communication, international media education and other fields in the fields of international news media and relevant government agencies.


The cross-border e-commerce major is committed to cultivating composite, applied and international cross-border e-commerce professionals who can adapt to the complex international economic, political and cultural environment, master the relevant theories, knowledge and skills of cross-border e-commerce, have outstanding foreign language skills, strong cross-cultural communication skills and cross-border e-commerce operation capabilities.


At present, the total number of undergraduate majors in our university has increased to 43. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the school will continue to promote the optimization of the professional structure, do the "adjustment, stop, transfer and increase" of the major, optimize the professional structure layout, stop the withdrawal of the major that does not meet the needs of the society, shift the focus of work to creating advantageous majors, add interdisciplinary related majors and urgently needed majors for economic and social development, and build a new liberal arts and new engineering undergraduate professional system with appropriate scale, structural optimization, outstanding advantages and distinctive characteristics.
