Foreign Language Studies in Northeast Asia, a journal of our school, selected as AMI Comprehensive Evaluation Extension Journal of Chinese humanities and social sciences journals

Recently, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Evaluation published AMI Comprehensive Evaluation Report (2022) on the 10th National Humanities and Social Sciences Summit Forum and the Press Conference of Periodical Evaluation Report. The Northeast Asian Foreign Language Studies sponsored by our university was selected as the expanded periodical of AMI Comprehensive Evaluation of Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences Journals. This is another landmark achievement in the evaluation system after Foreign Languages and Foreign Language Teaching was selected as the core linguistics periodical of AMI Comprehensive Evaluation of Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences Periodicals.


AMI comprehensive evaluation of Chinese humanities and social science journals started in 2014, and a round of national humanities and social science journals evaluation is carried out every four years. The evaluation report, together with China Social Sciences Citation Index (CSSCI) and "Overview of Chinese Core Journals" (Peking University Core), is one of the three major evaluation systems of humanities and social sciences journals in China, which has high authority and influence.


In 2022, 2,168 Chinese periodicals (1,904 old periodicals, 116 new periodicals and 148 foreign periodicals) in the fields of humanities and social sciences will be evaluated. In the report released this time, there are 775 extended journals, among which 22 are linguistics extended journals, among which Northeast Asian Foreign Language Studies of our University is listed, which indicates that the quality of periodicals of our university has been highly recognized by the academic community in recent years.


In recent years, the university attaches great importance to the periodical construction. The editorial department of Northeast Asian Foreign Language Studies keeps pace with times, constantly optimizing the column construction, strengthening the selection of high-quality manuscripts, strictly controlling the quality of manuscripts, further improving the manuscript review, editing and proofreading process, and constantly improving the publication performance and academic influence. Foreign Language Studies in Northeast Asia will continue to adhere to the characteristics of regional studies in Northeast Asia and innovate the idea of running a journal, further improve the quality of manuscripts and the level of running a journal, and continue to expand the academic influence of the journal in the academic circle.
