The pre-job training for dispatched Chinese language teachers has been launched in our school

On the morning of July 14, the 2025 Pre-job Training for Dispatched Chinese Language Teachers, jointly organized by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of China’s Ministry of Education and hosted by Dalian Foreign Studies University, commenced at the university’s International Cultural Exchange Center. Vice President Zhao Yong attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Representatives from relevant departments and 113 teachers selected from 82 institutions nationwide participated in the event.

In his address, Vice President Zhao Yong emphasized that dispatched Chinese language teachers shoulder the vital mission of promoting China’s fine traditional culture. As envoys and witnesses of cultural exchanges between China and other nations, they are practitioners of people-to-people bonds. He stated that DFLU remains committed to providing high-quality resources for international Chinese language education, expressing hope that the teachers would become pillars in teaching Chinese, sharing China’s stories, and disseminating Chinese culture worldwide. Their contributions, he noted, will foster friendly exchanges between China and other countries.

Wang Duan, Associate Professor at the College of Chinese Studies, spoke as a representative of the training faculty. She encouraged participants to engage enthusiastically in the training, enhance their teaching capabilities, and help Chinese learners worldwide realize their "Chinese Dream." Gao Li, a dispatched teacher from Northwest University, spoke on behalf of all trainees, urging fellow teachers to respond to the nation’s call with professionalism and jointly advance the high-quality development of international Chinese language education.

The 12-day training program covers six modules—including education on ideals and convictions, foreign affairs protocols, and safety training—totaling 96 academic hours.
