Our University's Teaching Team Wins Top International Chinese Teaching Honor

Recently, the 2025 "Chinese Teaching Heroes Conference" International Chinese Teaching Skills Exchange Finale was held in Beijing. The "Academic Chinese Writing" team from our university's School of Chinese Studies, composed of teachers Cao Bo, Zhao Liancheng, Jiang Xiangling, Li Yanyan, and Gao Yifei, received high praise from the judging experts for their forward-thinking teaching philosophy and systematic innovative practices. They were awarded one of the top honors—the "Best Teaching Design Award."

The 2025 "Chinese Teaching Heroes Conference" was organized by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and the National Committee for the Guidance of Professional Degree Graduate Education in International Chinese Education. The event officially launched in June, with over 950 teachers and students from 182 teams across 140 institutions in six regions—Northeast, North China, East China, Southwest, Northwest, and Central-South—participating in the preliminary selection. Ultimately, 36 teams from 34 domestic institutions advanced to the final exchange event.  


This award recognizes the university's long-term commitment to teaching reform and its achievements in deepening professional connotation building. It also highlights the university's innovative capabilities in the field of international Chinese education. The university will continue to further promote the optimization of the curriculum system and the transformation of teaching outcomes, contributing "Dalian University of Foreign Languages' wisdom" to cultivating more high-level international talents who understand and are friendly toward China.
